It’s been a long wait, but the fi-r’s finally came in and the PS4S came off back order, so I got them mounted today and installed. 19x9 with a 245/35/19 19x11.5 with a 305/35/19 Significant weight reduction and just a massive improvement in appearance. Previous owner dropped the car down and it’s a bit too close for comfort for me, so I’m going to bring it up about 3/4”-1”. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats! ...We're twins! Mine are in 20" - 9.5" up fronts and 11.75" rears. Wrapped in Trofeo Rs. Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3223425 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those look a heck of a lot like the HRE P101’s on my Aston, but with the color on my Scud! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
BBS FI-r are incredible wheels and look great in your 430. Congrats! I contemplated this on my 360 spider before I ended up getting a set of sanfrans replica 19” challenge stradale wheels. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Thanks Scottslaw! A right pair of shoes makes the girl look hotter than ever!! I think the F430s will age well. It'a also due to the aggressive stance on Novitec springs. I don't rub ..the only time I bottomed out was when there is a severe dip on the road doing 120. I enter curbs and speed bumps at an angle ....I use to it.
They are similar but much lighter. They have notches cut out. The 20"x9" weight 17 lbs and the rear 20"x 11.75" weights 20 lbs. I also have a silver pair of 20" BBS FI (not r's) and they weight 3 lbs more. **nice lift Eric!** Sorry to thread jack OP. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow! I thought the P101’s were light! Very cool with the notches, appreciate you sharing! **Edit and the BBS are less expensive too! How did I miss these? I will say the HREs are pretty in person, but weight mattered most to me. View attachment 3225036 Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I got mine through vivid racing .....I think they are discontinued. You may have to search in the used market. I would do a "WTB" in the classified section here to start.
Any issues (e-diff, abs, tcs) running 245/35/19 and 305/35/19? What length lug bolts did you use with the change of wheels? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Jake, I've have no issues with the cpu running the 20" rims due to it being very close to factory wheel specs. As for the bolts, my set up is custom due to the wheels being 114.3 bolt pattern. I had custom adapters made in steel and titanium bolts fitted.
Right. The computer only knows the overall diameters from the rates of rotation, so it doesn’t matter if you are running 19”, 20” or 21” wheels as long as the overall outer diameters don’t vary much from stock. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
3% diameter change is tolerable. Front:rear ration is supposed to be .938 or something (I forget exactly) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
