Can a seat lifter be added to the 488 gold rake seats that came from the factory without it?
Not exactly sure what your asking , but the lifter option CAN be added, though it would be expensive. ( We've done it ) seat base, brackets, handles, etc are required. S
While many disagree, I find it useful option. Just a minor up or down adjustment can sometimes make a big difference in comfort. As a point of reference, the 2018 option price was $2,531.
I had the goldrakes with the lifter in my 458 Italia and have the Daytona full power in 488 and I know I will get many who disagree but the Daytona’s are exponentially more comfortable

For a $4000 retrofit, it would be better to lift the seat yourself with longer seat bolts and standoff spacers. Unless there were multiple drivers of different height. I am 5'8" and seating position is perfect on my 458 with race seats.
I agree with Ivin. I have the racing seats in my 458 and I am about the same height as both of you. Seating position is spot on and find them more comfortable than regular seats.
I found them very comfortable (the gold rakes), the standard seats are terrible IMO. I sat in a height adjustment seat though, was just concerned about non height adjustment seats
