And from my experience dont fit the car they are advertised to. I'd strongly recommend anyone never use Eurospares or their parts
Ok, please explain and post photos to show what exactly is wrong. Many of us are waiting to see if they will be reproduced again.
I got them back last night and they looks good. I am planning on bring the Countach. Original plan was to bring Jarama but it is always request ed to bring Countach. Are you visiting the show? Would you like me to bring a wheel so you can see the paint?
Are you saying Eurospares repro parts or? They sell lots of stuff and there is a lot of genuine Ferrari and Lambo parts that have worked out well for me.
Here are the Urraco wheels Of note, the build quality of the Urraco wheels are far better than the Jarama's Miura style wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, my son and I will be there. It is a MUST for us. A great show for a fantastic cause. There is nothing better than seeing those children beaming from ear to ear as they exit cars and the audience applauds. While I would love to see a finished wheel, do not go out of your way for us. The Countach is certainly a crowd pleaser, but I am looking forward to seeing your Jarama and Uracco someday. For anyone form the New England area (or beyond) looking for something to do this weekend, there is not better choice than Ferrari and Friends. Hope to see you all there.
srry joe im missed this... i dont think so but i reckon there may have been a few specially ordered from repainted at the factory.
I'm really happy with how the wheels turned out. That paint code was dead on and now that they have the non-gloss clear coat it's looking right to me. Here's a photo in low sunlight around 7pm in LA. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would bug the purists, but I'd quite like to see my wheels (black Diablo SE30) painted Gold in retro homage.
Go for it! Black with gold wheels is a great combination and it's only paint if you decide you don't like it...
Good to see - my gold wheels are getting painted in the next week or so, with same paint code. (On a Black 400S)
I would try it. It's a code used by Lamborghini even though not period correct for an se30. But a tribute is not a bad thing. Paying homage is respect. AND with wheels, once you go gold, you can go back.
Here is my Silhouette with gold wheels. I think they go really well with Rame Colorado... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Slightly off topic, but I've always wondered if the original Stratos Zero prototype was painted in Rame Colorado? The colour seems different in every photo. Jonathan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jonathan, the Stratos Zero started life in Rame Colorado. Then sometime in the 70s it was repainted Argento by Bertone SpA. It remained in Argento till the mid-90s (I saw it in this livery in the USA), then it was repainted back to Rame Colorado. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bertone must have liked this colour. The Jalpa prototype shown at Geneva 1981 was also Rame Colorado and of course it had gold wheels! The Jalpa prototype started life as Silhouette 40058, then it became the silver development Jalpa 12001 and eventually the [first] Jalpa Spider, now blue and in the Ferruccio Lamborghini museum.
