    I knew Kangol. I just figured that was the BRAND and not the actual style, as if I am not mistaken Kangol has a line of clothes. Also this style of hat was around WAY before Kangol.

    EDIT: Yup Kangol labels this style as CAPS. So the search continues.

    Kangol makes other styles of hats, but sort of like Kleenex is general term for a tissue and Xerox is a general term for a copier, this type of hat is generally known as a Kangol. People will know what you're talking about.
