Hehe, Merry belated Xmas everyone, just watching the movie "gone in 60 seconds" as its on tv, and who could resist as nicholas cage talks to "roger the ferrari salesman" Has anyone actually found that from a ferrari, their social status just rose? women just came up out of nowhere and offered numbers etc? I think the movie is good, but isnt that just a tiny bit unrealistic?
Well she didn't come from out of nowhere she worked for one of my customers but when she found out I owned a ferrari she left drool on my desk and a wet spot on the chair. Really pissed off my admin. asst. not that she would admit it though.
HEHEHEHEHE, thats awesome!!! And it sounds like on the job too!!! now..which type of Fcar...If its an early mondial or 400I ill be REALLY impressed!!! hehehe.
I watched the movie last night, and to be honest, it was a bore. To answer your question though, in all of my years of owning Ferraris, I've never had the above happen, when a woman knew/saw I owned Ferraris. There is one 'poster' though, who has a 328 (his 1st F-car) and he claims that it happens to him all of the time. He even says that girls flash their boobs at him on a consistant basis, when he's driving his 328 (I've never had that happen either.....so I wonder)! However, when I'm in my 'Roller', I've had a number of come-ons from woman. An older, and much wiser sage than me, once told me that when you're driving a Ferrari, people look at the car; but when you're driving a Rolls Royce, people look to see whose driving it. This, I've found to be true.
No, woman definately come onto you in the Ferrari, but practicly jump into the passanger seat of the Lambo.
Well, the diablo definitely has the subliminal phallic symbol going for it BTW, Allan, your car is my desktop
Which Ferraris did you guys see in this movie? I think I saw: 275 GTB 355 spider 550 Maranello But I'm sure I'm missing a few.
I have list these ones, we can see all of them very clearly in the movie : F355 Spider 550 Maranello F355 Berlinetta 275 GTB F40 Testarossa Dino 246 GT and few others hidden.
That would be Ken Ross... Yes, the ladies... i love this movie... (of course, i also liked Driven, so what do i know...?)
