Coming down to Houston for a Thurs/Fri/Sat visit the 11th/12th/13th.
Wife is a teacher on spring break and visiting her college roomy. Think they live over by the Galleria.

    Anything I should see/do?

Not fast enough for I45N! LOL! 45MPH tops, but it feels faster with your eyes at car bumper level.

Plus the .75 gallon gas tank would get tedious after awhile.
We'd have to fit the "Cannonball" tank!!!

Read the description of these things again. We double RPM to 6700 and cross fingers, etc., as to lifespan! Actually, I 've only had one fail (Camshaft) during race weekend. These have continued to run for fun with my kids, I think the oldest kart is five years old. It's a standard Briggs and Stratton 3.5 HP, repairable at the local lawn equipment shop.

Of course they do wonder why your edging the lawn at 6700RPM!
