If the Red Sox can do it so can the White sox! I hope Houston finishes the Cards off tomorrow.

    LaRussa is overrated!

I've only been a Sox fan since '90, so I haven't waited quite as long as some long time fans in this city. But, seeing as how starting pitching has been going in the playoffs so far, the chances are very good! Go SOX!!

Then there'd be no point to a World Series.

I mean, come on... Sox vs. Astros?

    ZZZZZZZZ

    Or

Cards take NL Crown, go on to slaughter White Sox in 4.

Hells no. The only thing I'm pulling for is getting series tickets, and scalping the sh** out of 'em, so that the mullet headed southsiders have to miss their IROC payment to get them.

No way. They had that series handed to them by bad umpire calls.

I'll root for the Sox, but only because I went to a game in Chicago last month and bought a hat.

(BTW, I've NEVER seen so many homely/ugly women in one place at one time in my whole life. Not a babe in the crowd!)

Astros will win tonight. Pettitte didn't have a good outing last time, which means he'll be on tonight. Then my parents will be sacraficing their tickets for one World Series game so I can go. It's our year.

I know rap isn't everyones cup of tea, but a guy I went to high school with has a new song out and he's done a remix for the Astros. His rap name is Chamillionaire.

The thing that gets me the most and why the Astros will get to the series and win is because no one wants us to. I don't know what it is about Texas teams, namely Houston and San Antonio, but everyone in the media hates us. Probably because we show true sportsmanship and aren't all arrogant cocks. I would rather be watching the games on ESPN since they seem to at least mention a few good things about the 'stros while Fox guys do nothing but talk about how amazing the Cards are and the disappointment you can hear in their voice.

HILARIOUS! I saw all these people wearing Sox merchandise today, I wonder where all the fans were during the regular season?

What about El Duque and Jose Contreras? LOL

Funny how the ace of both starting were both on the yankees 2 years ago.

Cashman must be getting plenty of grief for those trades/non signings.* The icing on the cake would have been if Soriano was on one of the two teams!

*Except Clemens who actually retired for 30 seconds.

I'm not sure if Contreras would have ever been good in New York. We've had plenty of pitchers here that did great in other cities and could not handle the pressure of pitching in New York. But as far as Pettite, I can't understand why they didn't offer him more money. And Clemens, he just wanted to go play in Texas -- it wasn't a money issue.

If the Yankees aint in it, I could give a fock who wins. As long as it isn't Boston, I'm cool. If i had to pick it would be Houston.

Lidge screwed up a big one last night. Even though the bases were loaded, never ever pitch to Puljols if he just taps a bunt it goes over the wall. My dad made a good point last night when they got home from the game saying that with how good Wheeler was pitching last night and has been pitching he should have been left in to close it out. That guy, who scares me when he pitches has been on fire as of lately. Throwing sickness down over the plate.

But we will win it in St. Louis. I know we will. I now think it's going to go seven games and this time Clemens is going to win it.
