    I just use safari. When the video is playing open "window > activity" and "window > downloads". You will see the file loading in the activity window. Copy and paste it into the download window. I use quicktime to watch the .flv files.......... I think I had to download an extension for it.

    Ok, got the player, got a link, but it is taking forever to download it into the player, any suggestions on how to fix this? The buffer never get's passed 0%.

    I use this one, its free, very very simple to use, about the simplest as it gets, and no spyware that I've come across. Only thing is that its for the Ipod but it saves it right to the hard drive, so you can watch it there. And you can set the quality.

    I recommend it! :)

    EDIT: I'm actually not sure this works for the mac, but don't see why it wouldnt. Apologies. Give it a shot if you haven't found one already.
