I just moved to Santa Monica and I have a 911S. i had a great service mechanic in Boca Raton whom was fair in his charges for routine services. I need a shop like that in the Santa Monica area. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance . ( BTW- I am posting this on the Ferrari forum as well as the Porsche one since I also have a Stradale)

Possibly porsche forums also, likely more feedback there. I read you did that, best of luck, someone will have an answer. Hang in there.[emoji106]

    Joe:

    What year is your 911S?

If it’s a 1969 -1973 it will have mechanical fuel injection. Servicing these is a very different skill set than electronic fuel injection. MFI gurus are few and far between these days.

Go to Pelicanparts, post a request for Indi in LA area, you will get some hits. Like Alan said, if it is an MFI, you need to interview the mechanic first.

There’s R2 in Santa Clarita. It’s within an hour of Santa Monica. Rafi is the owner and he was a Ferrari mechanic for a dealership before he opened his own shop. He services/repairs all the Ferraris and Porsches in the area.
