Forget the cheesey RE sites. Just post something for free on Craigslist.

Here is some background as to why I asked for help in locating a site. A friend's dad who is one of those 'good 'ol boy' selfmade real estate multi-millionaire's and he has taken me under his wing so to speak and we have begun looking into tax sale properties/acreage in Fort Bend County. Once we aquire properties or acreage we will need a good site to advertise our 'want to buy' and 'want to sale' ad's on. Also we are hoping to find a website that deal's strictly in real estate.

    Thanks,
    Gregg

This is really popular and upcoming site. I'm not in the market so I'm not sure how resourceful it really is though? - http://www.zillow.com

Thank's for the link I appreciate it. Although we will be dealing mostly with undeveloped acreage we will have a need for a site to sell lot's on. Just for basic knowledge I would like to expand alittle more on Jim the friend/partner I am speaking of. For those who are familiar with Crab River Rd you will understand. 99 West has reached Hwy 59 South and that is Crab River Rd and the developement is BOOMING to say the least. The 99 expansion plan's will be going directly through Jim's ranch, taking his house aswell as his fishing pond, and he will be paid a very princely sum for the acreage which the city/county/state will be buying after the first of the new year. Our estimation is that he will be making $1m+ from the sale, if our estimate's are correct, of what they need to acquire and we plan to put those proceed's toward's acquireing more property, not that we need it thought as we have a credit line of $10m+.

I will be his right hand man as he need's a protege' and he chose me for the position. I will be doing this part-time with him as I wil soon be starting my new career with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's dept as a jailor and after my 2yr's of apprenticeship I want to become a certified sheriff but that's off-topic. Anyway we need a strong presence on the internet but will also be utilizing the advertising vehicle's he has used in the past.

Thank's to everyone who has taken the time to read and comment to my thread your input is greatly appreciated,
    Gregg
