    We've probably discuss this numerous times over the last couple of years, but I can't find the threads ... and I have a definite need. Who are the highest recommended vintage mechanics? I need some quick work done ... and my engine guru is up to his eye balls in engine blocks!

    A couple months back this F-car newbie piloti solicited recommendations for mechanics in Orange County. Senna, you recommended Michael of Ferrari of Irvine http://www.ferrariservice.com/ (now back in Costa Mesa). I need to thank you and make you aware of how well he did by me.

    He could easily have tagged me for an additonal $500-800, and I wouldn't have known any better. He didn't. In fact, he made some recommendations that lowered my cost. Integrity. A rare commodity today. "Baby" runs like a top!

    The change of all fluids for the '95 348 Spider went well, and was very reasonable. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll drive to Costa Mesa to see this guy, 'til he relocates back to Irvine/Lake Forest.
