Thought it may be good to compile and keep current a list online of safe/good places to park. I am relatively new in the area so don't know any, but here are a few to get it started.

BTW, I am defining good/safe as a valet that will let you park in the front in a protected space and let you park it yourself. Also, would be good to have a bad list too so that people can avoid those places

    Good:
Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset: great spaces out front, will let you park yourself talk to Brad.

    Bad:

One thing I have learned in LA is that there are many f-cars around. Valets in the more expensive areas are generally not to impressed that you have a ferrari especially if its an older model. I guess it depends on the model place and time of day weather or not you would be given special treatment or not.

Its all about cash. 20$ should be minimum for self park and decent spot.

I am sure there are many readers of this who have a decent F-car and perhaps some other nice ones as well. I have found, even when driving my daily driver, money is what really counts. If you tip well you definitely get taken care of...

I really doubt, though, there are very many exotic owners who don't know this. What is helpful, in my view, is knowing which are the good places to park. That is harder to know--especially if you are new to LA. Some Valet places don't even have a place to leave the car in front. Would be nice to have a reference so you can take a look before you book or before you leave to meet someone so that you don't have to worry about parking when you get there. Would be especially good to know the places to avoid. Why not let others learn from your bad luck?

So please, lets hear some feedback.

Thats true. I have been a valet for a while and 360s and 430s are the daily work place at better locations. They are nice cars but money speaks.

Gave the valet $30 bucks and he was all over it....

they sent the check for $4200 within 10 days. Valet broke off the reverse lever.

they were very professional and fast on the reimbursement. Highly recommend.
