I would like to start an on-line forum. Could someone please recommend me a good web hosting service? I have done business with Yahoo in the past, it they were NOT worth the money imo. What does Ferrari Chat run off of? I would need something with at least 10GB of storage, and PHP a must.

Godaddy - NOT. Almost everyone I know that was on godaddy is just that - WAS on godaddy.

    Try site5.com
50 gig of space, 5 TB of BW, $5/month if you do 2 years in advance.
I'm on them, and I love it, customer support is GREAT - AND FAST, if you need it.

I use godaddy... what were people upset with Whisky?

I have had it for 6 months or so. Initially it was a PITA to set up (but due to my mistake not reading the setup pages) but its been flawless since. Never seem to have any outage, seems to have a snappy response time, logging and reporting is good, and for what I have (top plan with static ip and SSL cert) it is a good deal.

    I recommend them.

Another vote for 1and1. Dreamhost gets rave reviews whenever I see them mentioned as well.

The folks that left said they had a fee or a charge for everything.

I have heard 1and1 is good, also.

Can you folks that have website believe how much the costs have dropped over the last few years ? I remember when 50 meg of space and 1 gig of BW was considered 'a lot' - and even that cost about $30/month.
