Good restaurant for dinner?

We are in Maui now. We have a home here and spend about 3 months per year on the island. I would guess you are staying in the Kaanapali area. We really like Pineapple Grille in Kapalua. The fish is great and the pork chop is fantastic. Good food and service.
For fish and a great location try Pacific-O at 505 S Front St. It is right on the sand and the macadamia nut encrusted Mahi-Mahi is fantastic.
Gerards in Lahaina is very good. A little expensive but very good.
Lahaina Grille and David Paul's are also good.
In the Kahalui area, as you start to go up-country Haille Maille is great. Some great preparations and sauces. Frequented by Oprah, and she knows food.
Mama's Fish House is excellent for just what is says.
