    Im looking for rims for my new to me '05 SL55 its got the stock amg wheels but the previous owner had them painted charcoal gray the look ok but i want black rims....i saw a pair of black SLR replica rims i liked at rollos on westheimer but he wanted 3500 for 20" rims w/ toyo tires which i thought was too much for a non name brand wheel. I love the lowenhart LSR if anybody knows a place thats got a great deal on a set i dont want to pay 7 or 8K for rims i think thats just ridiculous.

    Also I dont want to trade in my wheels and tires for 1K or anything 2 different shops offered me that for that price id rather keep them for when i sell it in 2-3 yrs

    But yea anyways, if you know anybody who can give me a great deal on a set of black rims for my SL Id be greatful

    i forgot to clarify southwest houston more specifically the galleria area is where I live I have a friend whose borther has a shop way out on 288 and I dont want to go that far I want something near here if possible

    I have a set of 15" wheels for the 400i that I need refinished and I thought about using them.

    Yep, I have a gf........LOL!
    Lady Valeria on the loose in the Turbo Beetle on those 19" Pilots....

    They do a good job of damage repair for curb rash and then a lifetime warranty on the finish...

    I have taken them rims they deemed "Non repairable" due to deflection of the inner web but I ran the Trans Am over a curb pretty hard, that night!

    Off 290 on Sherwood.....

    They clear coat everything so be sure to mention that if you don't want it......

    I dont want to do that bc i Really like the black with a chrome lip look it looks great while the cars in motion, the rims look good right now painted gray ill post some pics when I get the chance but black will look alot better

    They can leave the chrome lip, brudda they won't paint that...

    I have 3 piece Etoiles on #22127, they just shot the inner spokes......

    If you want to e-mail me the information of exact wheels you want, I am sure I can get you taken care of. Yes, I am in Dallas, but it should be worth your time.

    We also use Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist for wheel repaint / repairs, and I have been very happy with their process. ( I would stay away from Chrome anything though )

    i used wheels america once for my C5 corvette and they did a great job! fast turnaround and $100 a wheel i think it was.
