If anyone is looking to buy a K&N filter for their Ferrari at a great price($38.66 for a 512BBi/308 application), I have found a really good source online.

    http://www.performanceintl.com/shop/model.cgi?comp=kn&make=FERRARI

I ordered two filters from them last week and they arrived quickly and their ground shipping is -FREE-.

I have no connection with this company, I just wanted to share my pleasant buying experience.

Post what you think about the filters. I tried them on my 355 and think the car has a better "feel" with the stock filters.

There are plenty of mixed opinions about the filters. People seem to either love them or hate them.

I've used them on two previous Ferraris and like them.

I just installed the pair on my Boxer today and went for a drive. I was running some errands around town and forgot all them. I hopped on a freeway on ramp, nailed the throttle and wound it out to about redline. I suddenly noticed something sounded different. Then I realized it must have been the filters. The windows were down and a could hear a much louder than normal intake roar coming out the back. Guess they SUCK really good. ;)

Now the next step is to install the Tubi exhaust that I ordered. The car's intake and exhaust should really flow well then.

I was under the impression that K&N had an advertising price policy. All the companies that carry their filters (or at least the ones linked to their website) all have the same pricing.

I wouldn't put a K&N in any of my cars, Porsche dealers don't recomend them anymore as they let a lot of unwanted particles in and those harm the motor.
