Took my 348 for a ride this morning. Opps! Noticed that the ac-panel was completely dead. After a while it got really hot in the cabin because the heater valve obviosly was open. I did not worry to much, thinking that it´s an old Italian car that will mend itself. But it did not.
Looking in the tech manual for a fuse but there was no one to find. By now I started to worry a little knowing they are prone to break.
Took the panel and cable connector apart and gave it a good shower of electronic cleaner spray and connected it. Still dead. Tried several times and boom! It came on working again, with the clock blinking at me. That made my day!

Congrats! Do a search for hidden fuse. It's under the carpet above the trunk.

I do have a blinking clock, all the rest of the panel works.
I cannot feel any resistance in the clock buttons, I just cant press them in.

Have you tried to set the clock with an acute pencil?

Where did you find the connector to take apart and clean? Do you have a photo of it?

Sounds like Per is talking about the connector on the back of the a/c controller.

Early unit on the left and later on the right; don't know the cutoff date from one to the next.

Notice that the later unit positions the connector better so that the cable doesn't need a tight bend and subsequent binding against the console's side.
