Could anyone refer me to a good, knowledgeable traffic attorney in Maryland? I just need to ask him or her a few questions about the points system, specifically points transfer in MD, due to a speeding ticket I recieved in PA. Thanks all so much.

How can you need an attorney? You don't even have a car!!!

Did you get the keys to the Countach one weekend?

www.athenlaw.com I think this guy has a good reputation. I am using him for a speeding ticket right now. Ask me in another month or so and I'll give you my own opinion.

Sam--Md law allows the points transfer from another state-- http://www.carinsurance.com/kb/content21227.aspx

But in 13 years of going to court, I have NEVER seen it done... Md gives you ability to plead a PBJ, community service, etc in leau of points. Can't imagine Md will not give you the same benefit whether it is in state or out of state. Never have I seen Md assess points for an out of state violation..

That's funny as hell. I went to law school with Skip. He's a good guy. We drank a lot of beer together. ALOT of beer. Never seen him in court, but I can't imagine he'd mess up a traffic court case. Ask him about his old jacked up Jeep and his home away from home - Kisling's Tavern.

Let me know how he does for you.
