    Hi there

    After having my Tisso T-Touch I am considering purchasing a new watch under $1500.

    What would you suggest?
    perferibly nothing in the old style

    Oris TT1 Titan can be found for under $1500 and I think it is a great watch for the money. Case is 44mm wide at the base...feels nice and substantial on the wrist.

    I am a big fan of Tissot, have a PRC 200 and T Touch in Stainless steel, Oris is nice and maybe you could find a nice used Brietling?

    Yes a Monaco is a great watch... $1700? Perhaps used or eBay? I have a brand new limited edition Monaco that I treasure but it was a bit more costly than that. Basic Monacos are still a great watch for similar money and get my vote.

    + 1 here. I'd stay away from TAG. I got an ORIS TT1 diver w/luminous face, I love it. Its my "beater" watch, its been snorkeling, at the beach, in the pool, water skiing with me...and still goes...nice auto movement and I love the red rotor.

    If you don't want to buy used I would buy an Omega - the Seamaster is a great diver style watch and it also comes in a midsize if you don't want it clunky.

    But my favorite is the Speedmaster - the first watch on the moon - which is neatly engraved on the back. My father has an original and I have told him I want it when he goes. And he tells me he'll by buried with it!

    I got a Tag Heuer Formula 1, the style is awesome, it was about 700$, my grandpa bought it for me
