It's been a tremendously exciting 2yrs since I owned my first Ferrari, a 348TB & I'm glad the brotherhood here kept me warm. I was looking around for something newer like a 996 or Maserati 4200GT but couldn't bear the Fclub. So, I sold my 348 on Monday & bought myself a TR by Thursday! This is one birthday present few months earlier :)

Good bye guys I will miss you all....so much fun with the 348 but it's time to grow up & move on. Check out the no plates! I had the wheels transfered over. Now, I don't have to think about those 355 tailights cos the TR simply looks right with the black slotted rear & it came with 355 wheels & 355 C.Fibre sports seats!

Dude somebody put the steering wheel on the wrong side! That car looks very tight...how do you like the performance opposed to the 348? Does the TR provide enough of a bump in HP/performance? I was thinking about adding a 12 but was thinking 512. Unfortunately don't have the fun tickets to punch out another one right now.

    Lets have some observations........

Oh no no, moved the seat up so we can see the nice fibre braces :p

Hey, Pap you flatter my little car being on your desktop, need some high res? No, don't think I'll be back unless it's a real classic like 308/328 or the one & only 348spider left here!

My 348 was quick (challenge gearbox, factory sports exhaust, upgraded ECU & tuned suspension), everything happens faster, harder ride, responsive steering, nimble but the gear box wasn't good (not smooth enough) & it just doesn't have the extra bite once I pass 5Krpm & was really loud. I did lots of work on my 348 & it had many new parts including a new steering rack.

Speaking of sound, I really enjoyed the 348 with a higher pitch where my TR (tubi) is quiet below 4Krpm but when it roars above 4K, it's a total animal with grunt & the torque just keeps coming endlessly, you can feel it, till I chicken out because it's not good to speed here. And the starter, when you turn the key, it has that classic swirl sound & a second later, the tubi bursts like a jetfighter's afterburner. Simply superb. On top of that, I sold my 348 for cheap but I got the TR even cheaper!!! It's a 1990, one of the last few before the 512 while my 348 was the first in town in the same year.

I'm not driving the TR these few days till I change a new rack cos the ball joints are worn now & I'll be doing a belt job next week. The bloody S'rack is expensive from factory or agent. About US$7000 but our contacts here are a fraction that!

Thats a great looking ride man:) I like the choice of wheels. Did ya put the 355 wheels on the 348 before ya sold it?
I went the other way from a Testa to a 328 beleve it or not.
