    Nasa is stopping all future space shuttle missions to repair and maintain the orbiting telescope, a move that could put the satellite out of action within four years.

    I don't think anybody wants to see the Hubble go but it was launched in 1990. The fact that it is near the end of it's 15 year design life shouldn't be cause for surprise. There are also bigger and better things in the works:

    Those pics look neat but I heard they colorize those after they get them.I was a little dissapointed to hear that.

    I read most of the major newspapers in Canada everyday, the amount of stupid things that the US and Canadian government do is shocking!

    ..I was just thinking, 'Wow, space is really pretty,' and then I find out it might not be.

    Do you guys know how far those places are from us? I don't think any regular guy can fathom how far away these items are. They enlarge the pictures and add some colour sometimes they have to piece parts of photos together. I find it very interesting.
