Love it. I could learn to live with the tail lights.

That makes the second prototype to go under the hammer in less than a year.

I'm glad that it's back to its original Giallo Fly color. I had the pleasure of sitting in it in 1980, when it was owned by Carle C. Conway, and was painted silver. Fred

Interesting but I greatly prefer the production car to this prototype.

Wow, I like that! Have they posted estimated ranges yet? Is this a legitimate prototype? Thanks.

Nice! The tires (not the wheels) on the current photos look undersizedand “lost” in the wheel wells. Anyone have a period sideview to compare with the current images?

Yes! Look how much more the wheelwells were filled out! The current tires are way too small!

Also interesting that the wiper is parked on the opposite side!

Yes, and there are some other small differences. The rear is also too high. Shocks ?
Bus what impresses me the most is this huge rear hood. This car is a precious and lovely little prototype.

00106 is a super rare and unique one off prototype, a true masterpiece and one of the highlights in Monterey. First time on the market since September 1993.

    Marcel,

00106 really is the first “Dino” to show the quintessential Dino GT DNA elements. In your research, who is the most responsible for penning those lines?

I was with Winston Goodfellow, a well known journalist/author on Sunday. He told me that he had an extensive sit down interview with both Brovarone and Fioravanti. Fioravanti told him personally that it was Brovaroni who drew the lines of 00106. Of course, in a studio, there is much collaboration and direction from the team and the director.
