Anyone have a video of the circa 1980's Goodyear commerical with Enzo that ends with "...because Mr. Ferrari wants it that way."

Enzo should have appeared to be driving rather than being a passenger.

He may have been getting out of a UK or Japanese spec TR...

    Great find!
If the ad really show Enzo Ferrari exiting a TR it must have been shot pretty close to the time of his passing. It's probably the last commercial he ever appeared in.

There were at least 3 variants of the commercial made (I recorded 3 different variations back when they ran; unfortunately they are buried under tons of stuff at the moment due to house work). One version has a 328 on a windy road (at the end, it pulls over, the camera angle changes, and Enzo steps out); another has a 328 and a TR; and the third is the one on you.tube with 3 cars. As I recall, all have virtually the same dialog; only the car model names vary.
As noted above, you don't see Ferrari driving any of the cars. In fact, technically it would have been illegal for him to drive any of them on the road in Italy due to his age (Italian law). But it was still pretty amazing seeing him in the commercials.
    Happy holidays!

That's a well made commercial, but somewhat painful also...he looks very frail.

My favorite was the ca. 1961 Shell magazine ad titled "Enzo Ferrari puts his Soul into every car he makes," with a much-younger Enzo (60ish) standing in a warehouse full of 250 GTE's.

If you ever get those uncovered, please let us know so we can view them.

I remember the one in question that the link is for. I have the poster of it too.

Thanks for finding that. I remember seeing it once or twice. Best tire commercial ever. Guess that's why they hardly ever showed it.
