Although the Kumho Ecstas that my car arrived on have half their tread left, after reading the reviews at Tirerack.com, I'm tempted to toss them in favor of the highly rated and pricier (but not so pricey as Michelin Pilots) Goodyear F1 GS-D3s. Has anyone tried these Goodyears and, if so, did they noticeably improve handling/responsiveness?

this is apples and oranges but on my 2000 twinturbo corvette i went from the mps to the gs-d3 and i thought the gs-d3 was just as good if not better and that was a 550 rwhp car.

as a vendor for new and used tires every time I see a used Goodyear the tire is not one of the best out there, and you run the risk of tire delimitation or tread separation with the good year tires.
