I'm a long time IE user. Save your barbs for another thread. I've had to use Chrome pretty frequently lately, for reasons I won't get into. I download a lot of files. With IE, when I click 'download' it brings up a text box and asks me where I want the file to go. With Chrome, it just downloads it. I can then open it at the bottom of the browser and 'Save As', but then I have 2 of the same files on my computer. I want it where I want it, I don't want to have to move it. How can I tell Chrome where I want my file to go? It's very seldom to the same file twice, I manage a lot of things and they all need to go different places. Thanks!
Go to "chrome://settings/", click on "Show advanced setting", and there you will find "Downloads", where you can change the default location and/or check a box which says, "Ask where to save each file before downloading". Hope this helps, Randy...
