Shocked it's not fully sold out. Makes sense cab gets auto box as they're more for cruising than coupes.
This will depend on the customers of course.... But i think some will take the Xtrac Gearbox for this Spider Version.
Roof panels fits under the front bonnet. Agree, the T.33 Spider is gorgeous. The paddle/auto for the T.33 Coupe was canceled, as too few owners picked it. For that reason, I doubt there will be X-Trac paddle shifts available for any of the different T.33 versions.
It is quite possible that the manual transmission will be the only option in the end for the Spider, given the very low demand for the Xtrac transmission from T33 customers. But I think that even if it is not used for the Spider it will be used for the last version, it would be a shame to throw all this development into this transmission and not use it. Well, we'll see what Gordon and his team decide.
Simply the demand for paddle is not there. Road going autobox, though the box is already developed for T50S, needs quite tweaking I believe. I wanted them to make spider paddle only for the sake of differenciation, but we know GM. He doesn’t care. Now it is the coupe buyers who will bite the bullet for not waiting for spider. Good to have ordered both but it seems quite numbers of coupe will be available once spider is out. The last varient will make any sense? I don’t know. But without stripping more weight out of coupe, which in itself a very very hard job already at this point, simply making downforce machine with bits of aero will not be accepted well. Also, paddle has its own merit. Shorter gear ratio always means fun busy drive. I really wish they provide paddle for spider. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Its my fav car he makes but still too close for comfort to lotus elise styling. I'm sure in person will be spectacular and quite different but at over 2m dollars I want fotos look extraordinary too.
I made an inquiry to purchase the spider about a week ago but never heard back. According to Road and Track only half the cars are spoken for. I called Canepa to see if they knew anything (they were the US sales agent for the T50 and T33 coupe). They thought the car might be allocated via some sort of lottery system. Anybody know anything further?
