Gordon Murray is in Classic Cars this month praising his favourite Ferrari and the GT4 he has in his personal collection.

    Praise indeed.

It's amazing how much better it looks with the clean, sensibly sized euro bumpers than the monstrosities fitted to the USA versions.

No surprise here. Whenever I get some precious time behind the wheel, I fall in love all over again, and wonder why there aren't more of these on the road. Then it hits me, they are rare. I recall the entire 1975 production was less than 600 cars. I wonder how many (of all years) remain. I believe they were built from 1974 to 1980. And '74 is one I haven't seen. Maybe as a 208?

Anyway - fantastic cars! BTW - I had another opp'y to take her for a spin, and I was in an area flooded w fancy cars. When I stopped, 3 people went out of there way to tell me how gorgeous it is. Can't take credit - I mean I didn't design it. I just appreciate the shape enough and was lucky enough to find one.

I believe all 74s were Euros and they made about 44 of them.

Cool, i had a chance to meet with murray... he is having an old alfa gtv being built also. so glad my childhood hero has chosen to add an alfa and a 308gt4 to his collection. kinda vindicates my choices in cars? :)
