A bit windy....a bit too many police out....a bit too many SUVs on the major highways but what a gorgeous day! Even had an SUV pull over to the side on a twisty back road to let me pass. Took a 30mi run through the back roads......boy, it felt good. Life is good.
Tomorrow promises to be excellent as well. Anybody up for breakfast or a breakfast run? I'll probably head out to Marshall's creek flea market afterwards. Shout if interested
Didn't have your whip? Dude, you are one of the lucky few that has TWO whips I would even venture to say THREE whips, bc the M3 aint no slouch. You be da man wit da whips!
word, went on a mini-run with my dad's friend with the red 360 (hubert's neighbor) on the parkway, TONS of traffic its the one with the temp plates dated july 04
That's what I was going to say....no whip? Playa has the sickest F355 with the biggest rims and a Mod. M3
In defense of Sam's decision to defer the ROEIII you should all know that what happened out east was exactly as predicted. This was a pure northeast coastal storm with a sharp western boundary. Steady and occassionally heavy rain moved in over Long Island and eastern New England by midnight Friday and lasted east of the Nassau/Suffolk County until mod-afternoon Saturday, not to mention winds gusting to 40 MPH and temperatures in the high 40s and some coastal flooding from the combination of an unusually high astronomical tide and a 2-3 foot storm surge. Here in New Canaan it also rained Friday night but ended by Sat AM and we had a lot of sun, but it was the weather in Cuthogue that mattered. Still it was nice for the weather to cooperate for local runs over the western part of the tri-state.
I think I saw that guy in Fort Lee this evening around 7pm right by the GWB. Did he have a Challenge Grill? The car I saw had temps as well...also saw a Midnight Blue Phantom and BCGT on River Road in Edgewater.
Was on Westbury, LI til about mid morning sunny, spoke to someone in eastern LI it was it was crappy and raining, went to NJ in the afternoon to look at a car it was beautiful - sunny warm. Springtime in the northeast area is crazy with mother earth going through her semiannual changes. IMO, these meterologists should not even attempt to predict past 12 hours.
The weather was really nasty out here yesterday all day. Raining and very windy.... we would have been miserable at ROE... good call Sam
