I see one driving around town all of the time and have never been able to catch up with the old guy driving it.
Its clearly all orignal in very decent condition.
    What is it?

Google is my next stop. Id like to learn more.
It looks sort of like a Bugatti Type 57 that I also see driving around frequently. Quite a nice car too. All original, very special.
    Thanks

A nice Bugatti 57 is worth 10-20 times what Jag 120 is. ;)

The first time I saw it I didnt know what it was. I was on the way to store my car for the winter and was taking the guy that owns the storage place for a ride before I put her to sleep for the winter. Anyways, as we were driving the Bug was coming towds us from the opposite direction. I was mystified, asked my friend Evan, what on earth is that? He said that is a type 57 if you want to see it, turn around and I will introdce you to the owner.

Long story short, I found myself in this guys back yard, where he has two barns full of amazing cars, and old sail boats (Herishaw's?).

He was extreemly nice, even offered to take me for a ride. I had no idea the value of the car. He was simply taking it to the store to get a quart of milk.

He also had a completly original Cobra - he is the original owner, some sort of Bug racing car, long thin blue car that was also very cool, and a fer other cars like old Lotus's.

I wish I had know how special his cars were when I was at his place. I dont know my British cars, I like the red stuff.

What a great set of cars and what a great guy.

    - Ron
