  1. Was trying to pin point a funky sound in the rear of my shoulder, taking a resistance band and trying to replicate it I must have pulled something else in my shoulder. Waking up this morning I have pain when I move my hand with arm at sand in a rotational way like turning a door knob, but with arm totally hanging down. The pain feels like the front of my shoulder but more inward. Im going to the doctor tommorow, but thought I would ask anyway. What can it be ?

Worst thing is, im going to St.Martin and Miami August 4th, I hope I will be good to go by then.

SOunds like it may be rotator cuff syndrome but it's extremely hard to diagnose over the net. Definately see a doc. Does it hurt even worse when you raise the hand up above the shoulder?

  3. not so much no, the syndrome doesnt just happan from a one time thing does it or ?

It can be one of two things. 1. Impingement syndrome in the shoulder where the rotator cuff is impinging between the humeral head and the acromion process causing referred pain into the arm or 2. bicipital tendonitis, the bicep bends your elbow but also rotates your hand called ( supination ). Supination is when you turn your palm from facing down to facing up toward the ceiling. Both can be corrected with the correct exercises, icing as well as stopping the activity that has caused the pain. If it is impingement in the shoulder you should avoid the hand getting above the height of your shoulder. This is most commonly seen when sleeping, hard to avoid. Good luck.
