Reckless driving is now 15mph over posted speed limit. Anything over 80mph is also reckless driving here in VA.

The real trick would be to get buddies in the EA-6B community to fly support. Of course, may have to speed a little to keep up with the jet.

BTW, the jamming pods are the three pods on the centerline and outboard stations of the closer jet.

Most real jammers can't totally prevent the cop from getting a reading, they only significantly reduce the range at which the radar can see you. So if you are using a jammer the cop can still see you, but you have to be real close and if he shoots first you will have a good chance to get the car decelerating before the radar can lock. That's the good news.

The bad news about a jammer, is that it has to be on the right frequency (the one the radar gun is using) or very close to actually work. This means you have to broadcast on a lot of frequencies and that makes for larger hardware. You need to have a x band, a K band and a Ka band transmitter to cover all the frequencies, and some radar guns have a built in warning that they have been jammed.

Stealth works just fine, at least as well as a jammer, and there is nothing illegal about it. So long as you can get your radar range down to less than 400 feet, and you have a good detector, you probably aren't going to get a ticket that is verified by radar.
