Hi ttforcefed and brogenville you said it was disabled in the ROM used by EAG, which ROM did Miller use in your conversion? Also who do you recommend to contact at Miller for conversion-related topics?
The ROM conversion on the Scud work (to gated) was actually done by me in conjunction with EAG. You can pm me for more information.
I would be interested to know the full functionality of the clutch pedal switch if anybody knows what it is. I spent some time wondering that when I was down there replace the gas pedal potentiometer (in a 360).
It covers a whole raft of different scenarios. The engine management is pretty complex and has many areas defined to ensure perfect drivability and safety in all conditions. Firstly you have the corner edge cases such as when your at idle and your using more torque, there needs to be torque reservation to keep the engine from stalling during various conditions, for example using power steering it will use the clutch position switch to detect if the management needs to increase revs to compensate, in other words anti-stall. You the have other cases such as prevention from over revving when you dump the clutch at the limiter. Ignition angle intervention takes place. Then you have conditions for fuel cut-off and cut in. The clutch position switch plays a role in those situations too. No point in keeping fuel injectors running when you depress the clutch. In fact there are many (subtle) but important different cases that it's hard to remember every one.. Hope this helps .. Sent from my CPH2145 using Tapatalk
