    Thanks to f-chat member 02360spider for turning me on to this sunroof car that is being parted out. Made a low offer for it, included a note that I had an '00 sunroof car and wanted a spare, even if it is the wrong color, and they took it!

    That's just about the window sticker cost of the sunroof option. But then again ... the inventory of spare roof panels is somewhere around zero. So you're covered!

    According to Wikipedia regarding the Ferrari 360, Maranello produced only 12 cars with a factory sunroof and nine of them were exported to the US market.

    Eurospares lists it as new and in stock for £1,697.59

    but that's just the top skin :eek: By the time you bought all of the individual pieces, you could have a nice Mondial instead :)

    I have reliable information from a Ferrari sales manager who worked during that time. There were 22 sunroof 360's imported to North America.

    There was a cool aftermarket tinted lexan one for the 328 or 308 targa tops. They were cheap years ago but became unobtanium and crazy priced like our carbon seats have become. I would love to see that kind of mod for a sunroof car. There just aren't enough of them out there to justify it! You know the market size is 22 units!

    So with the spare are you planning ahead for when you’re driving, maybe maybe a somewhat intoxicated female around on the freeway and she’s like “Oooooo what do these leevers do” and bam the sunroof goes whooooosh! never to be seen again!
