If you use a jammer/blocker does the policeman know you have one, when he gets no reading after lasering/radaring your car

Yup....you can bet that if you actively 'jam' a signal, especially a radar signal, you're going to get stopped just out of curiosity.....equipment calibration is a BIG DEAL, as most officers have already lost court appearances due to defense attorneys successfully arguing over improperly-calibrated guns. SO, if you get blasted and Smokey's gun registers ZERO, he knows something's up...he's not stupid, after all....he's gonna want to know why everyone else registers on his gun EXCEPT YOU. BTW, active jamming devices are 100%, 50-state ILLEGAL....if they catch you with one, you're not getting a ticket. You're getting cuffed-n-stuffed and your car will probably be impounded....hope you have a bail-bondsman on speed-dial, Mr. Bond.....

Anyone I've read-about using an active RF jamming device will pair a radar detector with the unit - radar detectors are more sensitive over longer ranges than the radar guns themselves can accurately register your speed.....check the sensitivity ratings of the leading detectors out there to verify, but I believe the V1 is the most-sensitive of the bunch. A good detector will go off long before you're 'in-range' of an accurate radar speed measurement, but The Jammer is left 'on' just long enough to slow the car down to legal speeds and then turned off so Smokey's gun will register something when aimed at the offending car....if you're not an idiot and time it right, Smokey will be none-the-wiser and you won't get busted....if you're stupid, well.....you go to jail where stupid people belong.

Yes and no. I don't have that much experience with them, but a friend of mine who has one installed in his car has a switch to turn it on and off. So if you get tagged on a back road, give it a second or two then turn it off, cop still gets a reading just at a slower speed.

They are visible if he were to poke around the car, but they look the same as parking sensors so gives some leeway to play dumb or blame it on the previous owner.

Partly true Jamming radar is illegal in all 50 states. Jamming laser is legal in some states but it will still you you pulled over. The switch works great to shut it down after speed is corrected.
