Cheap way to do e-diff bleed Use a power supply connected to solenoid DC Power Supply Variable, 30V 10A Adjustable Switching Regulated DC Bench Power Supply with Intelligent Charging Mode, 18W USB Interface, Precision Encoder Knob (Black) https://a.co/d/0KMa9K2
Thanks, I had heard of using a current limited 12v wall power adapter and tapping the solenoid as a solution also.
Yes that is true - but having control over the amps is important to do a a good bleed.. you need about 1.1 amps to get the necessary pressure
So does this tool do the e-diff bleed in the end? Sorry if it's mentioned .... My Thinkdiag needs a yearly subscription of 50 bucks and does not do e-diff bleed.
Yes, I posted a few screen shots in post 20, although i have not actually tried it. I think that was the most attractive part on this one, lifetime free upgrades. I've had a few tools where i would buy a car software only to have it stop working the next time i used it. This one works offline, no login required, so even if the upgrade servers disappear, it still works... in theory lol.
Mario .. two questions .. does the option not show up or it just doesn't work since you have old firmware in ECU ? Are you connecting with iphone or android ?
Mario It will not work with any launch tool including the one in this thread ..it goes back to the ECU version ....you can always put a tech request in and maybe they will fix the software..but it may be that ECU is communicating thru the bus the same way as the newer ones
eDiff ECU firmware, right? I wish someone would file a few tickets to get the 2.13 firmware eDiff supported.
I have exactly the same thing ! Manual writing on ediff with 2.19, and Thinkdiag reporting 2.13.... What gives
