So i just picked up my treo650 after having a razr for about a year, im with cingular also. I have no booklet or anything describing any features for it, i picked up just the phone from a friend who is going with the Q instead now (under verizon). So i know many of you already have this, what kinda different things do you have/do on it? gps? movies? calenders?

Don't know about GPS but I have OBD II scan software on mine, which is cool for checking diagnostics on '96 and newer cars. Also have some games on it. Be careful though, it does freeze up frequently and if you want to have large files on it, you'll need the memory card. All in all, it's an ok phone. Funny you went from a Razr to the 650. I was thinking of doing just the opposite, as I find the Treo too large to comfortably keep in my pocket. The internet feature is nice on the 650, I usually check out f-chat when I take my lunch break! The Treo 700 is supposed to be quite an improvement though, as it runs Windows and can run wireless broadband for much faster web browsing. Only reason I haven't upgraded is because I have the wireless broadband card in my laptop from Verizon, so when we're travelling in the car, we just fire up the Think Pad if we need some web info in short order.

    Cheers,

Had one for about a year now. It's quirky...the Bluetooth is dodgy at times in my TL, sometimes I'll call out using the speakerphone and won't hear anything (I'm on Verizon btw), no native MP3 support, no built-in AIM (Blackberry has this), and it does reset for no apparent reason at times. I have a 1GB card in it and frequently download Podcasts to listen to while I'm on commercial flights. It ain't no Blackberry and I'm thinking about switching to that pretty soon.

On the plus side, I like being able to get email and I like the keyboard (small as it may be but, hey, I can type a lot quicker on a Treo than I can on a regular cel phone).

The Razr was nice, but its a very fragile phone, i have had 4 so far, two original lines and each was replaced once. Ive found theres two problems, you either get the faulty screen housing which allows tons of dirt to get in between the lcd screen and the housing, or you get the faulty software that just goes for no apparent reason. so after having both phones replaced once and the second phone doing the same thing i traded in one line for a treo650 and kept the razr (for my gf) . Thanks for the responses guys looks like ill just have alot of play time with it
