    I put my '96 Mastercraft Prostar 205 up for sale recently. It has a Corvette LT-1 motor in it, and a hair over 400 hours on it. I was asking $20k for it, and got offered $18k last night.

    Should I take it?????????

    Has anyone else kicked a tire? If this is the only bite, I would sell and be done. If there is quite a buzz and you think you can fetch 20, go for it. BTW my consulting fee is 2 grand.

    One other thing, unless it's worth 30k selling for 20, people will always try to drop the price, you must know this. Say 18,7 is your final price and take the wife to dinner.

    Mastercraft is one of best ski boats you can buy..........why would you call it that? Have you had a bad experience with them?

    How long would you advertise for usually? Where would you advertise? Have you ever sold a Mastercraft and had many responses to the advertisement?

    Best? MMMMMMM The market has long passed by Mastercraft. Malibu is the new king. Mastercraft stopped making good boats back after 96.

    Were ya be at? I'd be willin' to pull your sweater over yer head and give ya a pummelin. 'round these parts we don't take kindly to the word "hoser". It makes us look bad, eh {No question mark yank! It's not a question, it's punctuation.} I'll have a few Keiths, then tear yous a new one and have a go with the po lice when they git there. We may be slow, and poor and talk funny but when the goin' gets tough, we'll hit anything!
