Thanks Chas.....No plates on it yet, but I think I'm gonna put an old one on and take it out tomorrow......what's the worst that can happen? I think I like this one better than the other one I was looking at...Clean Carfax and no mileage discrepancy!
Congrats. The worst that could happen...impound, and damage when the flatbed operator who shows up doesn't know WTF he's doing with these cars and you spend months pursuing the claim for resulting damage! Hopefully not that, but that or any hybrid thereof is not out of the realm of possibility.
Nice choice,,interesting to me that you pay 430$ money for 328,,,FWIW,,I agree,,430 is huge in garage,328 smaller than X1/9!
Don’t you have 30 days to plate a car? I can’t count the times I’ve bought a car and put a plate on it and driven it with the bill of sale. Beautiful car OP! Congrats to you!!
So this will be your first non-air conditioned Ferrari? Looks great - the correct body style and color!!!
Not in Ohio...must have a temporary plate, but I have a historical plate that is good for 50 years in Ohio, It just wont match up with the car yet
Wow, fantastic find! Congratulations That mileage is rare and in the most desirable colors! Im jealous
Just noticed the tires look fine, ....but have date code of 2005, What are the best replacement tires?
Congrats on the car! Smart to check the date code. I'd be almost as concerned about 13 year old tires as I would about a 13 year old timing belt . Not sure about what size is spec'd for the 328, but I just put Firestone Firehawk Indy tires on my 85 308 QV and couldnt' be happier. I'm ususally more a Michelin / Pirelli guy, but these Firestones got great ratings / reviews, so I gave em a try. Super sticky, quiet and they feel a lot like the Pilot Sports on my Cayman. Way less money too. I have 205s in the front and 225s in the back. All four corners under $ 400 delivered from tire rack.
Yeah, Thats exactly what I saw on Tirerack, and they are about $50 cheaper at my local Firestone store and was about to pull the trigger, but though I would reach out to Fchat first....Thanks !
I have the Firestone Indy 500 tires on my 968. I would get rid of them in a second if I could, they are so LOUD! And I bought them because they had good reviews for noise. Other than that they seem to be a good tire.
