I want to thank Frank (Fl_355) for selling me the extra pod he had. I was going to cut mine up which I will do anyways and sell it to off set the cost of my pod I bought. I can tell you now...if you have not done this...it's awesome!! I can soo much more visability now. I am having some laser cut panels cut out for me to rearrange my tach and speedo....I will post pics of that later....I feel a lot safer driving my Diablo now.

Dang.. The guage cluster is the one part that I always hated about the early Diablos. This looks waaaaaay better. Full write up on the process would be cool :)

Cool... I like your idea of a new plate to reposition... seems that the speedo at around 60-70 is blocked by the steering wheel. I also am working on something and will post later.

Looks like you're pretty good with your hands... I shaped that pod using a dremel (it's fiberglass) .. you should be able to do the same with your old one. I needed to keep one stock for Concours and a low one for daily driving.

Also - have engine out in my car now... doing cams, power steering and some other new inventions.... :)

How exactly did you do the fabrication? Any WIP pics?

    Good stuff! :)

BTW, what's the visibility like out the back? I don't imagine it'll be too easy to do parallel parks! :D
