    How did your commute home go last night? Mine, not too good. 2 minutes away from my house, I am driving down a straight road with a 40mph speed limit, next thing I know, passenger side is impacted, and I am sent into a spin. Come to a stop, and this is the result. 15-year old with a learner's permit backed out of the driveway, and obviously didn't check oncoming traffic very well...........

    Took 1 1/2 hours for the cops to show up!

    Sorry to hear that. There must have been some kind of blind spot for her to not see you and for you not to see that she was pulling out and not going to stop.

    It was a male driver with his dad.

    Impact was a complete surprise......1 second I am driving, next second, I am feeling an impact. There was absolutely zero time for any response whatsoever. There are trees blocking that view - very dangerous spot for them.

    I thought I was going to wake up sore, but I seem to be fine. Was a little shaken up though.

    I'm sure he felt like it was his fault. In hindsight the father probably should have gotten out of the car and checked that the coast was clear rather than assume all was fine, especially if trees were in the way. What a way to start off your driving career?
