Wondering why you decided to ship from Detroit and not finish the xcouuntry drive.

Started reading along as I contemplate a NC to NV r/t with lots of back roads off interstates.

Was just a matter of time and wifey needed me back home. But I did drive the car from la to Houston. I also would drive the car from la to Vegas or SF or any chance I had for a road trip. Don't think of it twice, if you have the time do it. The car is an excellent highway cruiser, very comfortable and spacious. The car is also very reliable so no worries in that department. The only issue you will have is that every Camaro, mustang or civic type r will want to race you. Please keep us updated.

Also a lot of people will talk about miles, don't worry about those, these cars are made to be driven. Also there is no cruise control which I found great as I love to keep my foot on the accelerator anyway.

Glad for your reply and quick at that.
My FF has had 2 tows 260&300 miles to dealer. Just had service and warranty inspection but no guarantees of future mishaps.
With you on the wanna racers showing up on our tails.
Recently had a terrific stretch in TN Hwy 111 and was thrilled by driving 140-155mph and would be excited by the long stretches out west.
Have crossed country each way in 3 911’s and can almost feel it in my spine from the 74 taking all the bumps.
The Utah state trooper got me in a Speedster w top down on mid January day, said he saw me leaving town and tried to catch up for 20 minutes.
Luckily I saw the square headlights in my vibrating rear view and back off pedal to get down to 100 when his radar was in range.
Anymore I’d suppose there’s a cell awaiting us for over 120+
somewhere recently I read about another FF owner from NJ who logged something like 10k miles in one long adventure complete w golf clubs and a tent.
Will post updates if I do it.

Nice. I have 14 FF and have been driving that pretty much daily as it's just too good. Will try to take out the 360 today.
