Got the best family a guy could ask for

So the kids get us up for Christmas and my little girl runs up and says I want you to open your present first, then hands me an envelope. Inside is a card with 300 bucks and a hand written note that says I can't wait to ride in the ferria (she meant Ferrari). Both my kids and my wife kicked in more cash towards the down payment on our first Ferrari. The kids had heard my wife asking me what i wanted for chrsitmas. I asked for 2 things, a record player, and to save our money to pay off our truck and for a down payment on a Ferrari. A few months ago my wife bought a 1/18th scale California T and a piggy bank and we started putting money in it for our down payment fund to teach our kids about saving for something you really want.

Well figuring kids usually get kid gifts such as wallets, and pen holders and the like I assumed i was getting something along those lines. Nope they raided there piggy banks and gave me Ferrari money. Waiting for the little guys to go to bed here in a bit so i can sneak it back into their piggy banks but the gesture meant a lot and put a smile on my pre-coffee face this morning. Yeah, I got lucky somehow. It's cool that the whole family is getting excited about buying a car, that is strictly for fun. Sometimes I wander if I'm dreaming cause I know most guys wives would be like heck no, much less the kids lol. I figured some of you guys would get a kick out of that I know I sure did.

 

sometime after August 2018. We almost made a purchase this past July but the car was in less then stellar shape and we decided to pay off the 3/4 ton truck first, which makes life significantly more comfortable up till August. Depending on how quickly California prices go after august I might wait a little longer to get a real good deal on a Cali 30.
