Sounds fantastic. I need the front lift system. On my F430, it's a problem getting in and out of certain parking garages and some speed bumps.

Congratulations! September will be here before you know it!

chris - september can't get here early enough! and yes - i will post photos!

bdelp - I thought about the front lift system as well...I've got some scuffs under the front of my 430...but my luck I'd buy it and still end up getting scraping the bumper!

it's gonna be a LONG summer knowing this gift is coming!!!

The AFS lighting system requires ordering the Front Lift system.

Chris all the way to Wide World now to buy; where do you go for service?
Wasn't there a Ferrari dealer located in Williamsville on the right side of Main St. as you drive towards Transit Road? I can remember seeing Daytona and GTC/4 models in there years ago; on the other side of Main St. was Glen Campbell Chevrolet.
    Congrats on the allocation!

I don't believe that's true. The other way around is however. If you order the front lift the AFS is required.

That is correct. I'm sure it's a legal requirement so the beams go properly down the road if the front is lifted up.

Exactly how I would order mine, the only other option I would add would be the LED Steering Wheel.

CH - wow...good memory but that was never a Ferrari dealership - it was a small shop that serviced Alfa Romeo years ago (not sure if it ever was a Alfa dealership - might have been) and now is just a used car dealership. Glen Campbell Chevy is actually on Transit Rd - right around the corner from my house. I've brought my 430 to Ferrari of Ontario for service - but I've also had Wide World come pick the car up and flat bed it (at no charge I might add- covered under warranty).

SKXF430 - I think I'm gonna stick with black calipers. That's what I've got on the my 430 and I'm pretty happy with it...

Rosso Corsa with black interior looks great with red stitching. Have never seen one with silver, but hope it looks good for you. Yellow calipers to match the wheel centers and shields? LED wheel? They accelerate like a 599 or a bit quicker.

Chris the dealer on Main St. did have some exotics there in the past and yes Alfa to but probably not an 'official agent'. There was a Daytona and another time a red Maserati Bora with the silver roof in there. I can also remember a small printed catalog I picked up with Ferrari models and their prices; not sure now if they were new or used though. This would be mid 70's. Is Salvatore's Italian Restaurant still going? They had a bad fire there years ago but they rebuilt. Great place to eat!

hi guys - I've got the silver stitching with black leather now in my 430 (although the car itself is silver) and I absolutely love it...BUT I've never seen the silver stitch w/black in a rosso corsa in any f-car - whether it be a 458, 430, 360, etc.

    anyone got photos they share?

CH - funny you mention Salvatores...they are still going strong...they rebuilt after the fire and recently put up a great addition

The 458 of Lugano dealer in Switzerland is a Rosso Scuderia, with black interior and silver stitching. Unfortunately I don't have pictures and I am now 7000 miles away... Was very beautiful. Doesn't get dirty as fast as white stitching, but still faster than red stitching according to my dealer. I hesitated a lot on my 458 Rosso Corsa order, and finally went with black interior and red stitching, but could have been as well the silver one.

stereotaipei - thanks for the input...I did see the silver stitching on the yellow 458 that was in the official F magazine and it actually worked pretty well on that car...my other choice was red stitching but i felt the silver would "pop" more!

Havent had any problem with the silver getting dirty in my 430 (knock on wood)!

Just my personal feeling: red stitching is actually more "show off". Silver is more delicate, really not far from the visual effect of white stitching on black seat.
But honestly, both are very nice.
Not sure if its matters for you, but according to my dealer, red stitching is easier to resell (he basically said red Ferrari with black interior and red stitching is the most popular on second hand market - in Switzerland). Even if his demo car was silver stitching, he advised me against the silver stitching because it is easier to get dirty over time.

Alexander - I was actually looking for some constructive feedback. I appreciate everyone's two cents. But you're right, in the end, it's my final decision on what works best for me.
