Other things we forgot to post:

This thing produces far less heat than stock and it doesn't retain the heat of the stock system so you will be able to fondle the muffler within an hour of a hard drive.

It also takes up less space so you can see more of your otherwise cramped engine bay. This allows for better air circulation and heat exchange (see above). :)

Seriously, you will be amazed at how much cooler your car is going to run and how the rear bumper cover no longer feels like it is about to melt.

    That is one sweet exhaust!!

I love the idea of dropping the bypass valve. I'm suprised you went through the trouble of keeping the air pump.

If Oz makes this package available I am sure you can ask him to skip the air injections rail mod.

This is true the exhaust itself has 40lbs less 'heat sink' metal and does indeed run cooler and 'freeeeer' ........... note: I did not skimp on material quality ..... I used heavy wall 304SS tubing everywhere with appropriate strength designed in where necessary :)

You are correct ....... the 360/CS manifolds did not even have air rails ........... but I did not want to give the state 'exhaust testers' any reason to cry ....... ;)

+1 ........ it can be made to specification :)

I just may have to do that ..............

WOW!!!! I bet that consumed many of your spare hours. Well done Oz, well done on seeing the mission through, i'm sure, as always with things like this, there were testing times. Must be a great feeling to drive your 355 with your OWN exhaust creating that amazing sound we all lust after. Great work!

Those don't look like factory HT leads, what are you running there?

I think I might call you:

    "The Creator"

    from now on.....

This was a fun long one day project. The difficulty was just massaging the headers out and new ones in. Having done it once the install time could be cut at least 30% the next time. Vince is a true stooge. I have never seen him get dirt under his fingernails before. He and Goth did most of the work. Vince was covered in dirt, greese, and oil. I mostly sat around, heckled and ate cheesepuffs. I think I insulted Goth. When he brought out his creation the first thing I asked him... "is it going to fit?" I think I made up for it. We all worked out a$$off up to 4 of us at a time on different parts of the car. It was totally worth it having a job complete and huge satisfaction. We were all drained but went home with huge smiles on our faces. You can guess who had the biggest smile.

FBB, truly great pix! And yes I worked my azz off, but I ain't no mechanic, hence the extra time. Having ernie and FBB around makes any job easier since they pretty much know or figure out everything mechancial, although they do wrestle a bit too much while the rest of us are turning wrenches. ;) And yes this was truly a great Stoogefest. This is what makes the brotherhood what it is. I wish all of you could be there. But, we were all just window dressing for the real star of the show - the F355 gothxmuff system. Excuse me now while I go apply some more Ben Gay.
