Carbureted??? I love the sound of all those 24 venturis sucking air. Have you put the tech on retainer to keep the carbs adjusted? I remember the black one we had on the floor at the old FoD store. Moving it around the showroom at idle really built up my arms. It was better than working out at 24 Hour Fitness. Congratulations and have fun.......Great car.....

Is it something like these photos?

    First pic; yes exactly.
Second pic; Thats one of the evil injected cars.

Carbs are OK once set properly. They are non-changing mechanical devices. The tolerances and needed cleanliness for fuel injection seem more critical to me.

I knew the picture had injection but I could not find a picture with carbs......but it does give a good photo of the layout of the engine.

We had a BB and a BBi both on the floor at the same time if you will remember----both black. The carbed car could have been better maintained as the fuel lines seemed awful brittle and it leaked pretty bad. But, we did not own it so we had to hope the owner would pay for the maintenance.

I think I know your car if it is the one I am thinking of. When we were on 75 the previous owner came to us looking for one but found this one somewhere else. We did quite a lot of maintenance to get it in really good mechanical shape. If it is the same car.

They are a blast to drive. I know you will enjoy it. It is a true Ferrari classic.

Yeah but I bet it will also have velocity stacks sooner than later.

    No, no, that's perfect !
As a matter of fact I want to do stacks if I can figure a way to have an air cleaner for longer drives. The mind cogs are turning.

With the air cleaner off it does have mini velocity stacks stock. But them big polished ones look so good. That's the ticket.
