Clearly a 95 engine. Something (or several things) don't match up here.

Looks almost like different wheels completely (not just painted) between the two sets of pictures. The pictures could easily be from two different times. The VIN sequence does track with a January 97 build. The 2.7 engine is obviously a big WTF though. I guess it would be possible to swap a 2.7 engine and ECU in. Lots of questions and yellow flags but the listing has an address where the car is located.

Stolen? What's up with the stick-on VIN and no rivets? I would stay far away from this car. There is no description about the engine/ year discrepancy. Wondering if anyone is missing a 355? Hmmmmmm. "Someting verrrry fisssshy going on here."

That car is a 1995 through and through. 2 fuel filters, 2 separate ecu's located in the engine compartment, it does have the later power steering bottle, vin plate is not riveted, would love to have a look at the chassis stampings. Fishy fishy fishy..

That would explain the 2.7, but not the rest of that fishy smell!

Those plates are not mounted on the door. They are riveted to the pillar in between the door hinges. Inorder to rivet the plate, the door needs to be removed.

The VIN plate defiantly isn't stock. Could it be some sort of fraud and the seller doesn't even realize the car is a 95?
    I guess anything is possible.
