    Hi,
Thanks, it's really cool looking. It's number 5xx/2000. I find lots of other Ferrari GPs, but haven't seen this one around in a while. I have the box and all paperwork too.
Not sure of my price. What do you think?

I don't know much about GPs, but it is interesting that they would label the car 250 TR and also Testarossa. Maybe I am nit-picking (well I know I am), but TR is an abreviation for Testa Rossa (a two word phraze), the combination to one word 'Testarossa' was not used until 1985 and why label it both ways. You would think that a company that has such strong ties with Ferrari would know that.

It doesn't really matter what I think but what I have observed is that people who join the board and immediately start trying to sell expensive stuff like watches tend to get ripped apart.

I was waiting for someone with more tenure to chime in on that note - glad you did.

And, if it's numbered, why not just tell us the number, unless of course, that would give us a way to get to the real owner's name. I'm guessing all of these are registered.

Do you have a receipt from when you bought this bad boy?

Anyone out there missing their watch??

It's not personal, man... You have to understand that forums like these attract people who smell the money that they assume everyone here has, and figure there's at least 1 fool who'll fall for their scam. If your offer is really legit, then you'll find a way to prove it to us. If it's not, though, don't think you're the first to try it here. That's all...

That is a nice piece and I speak from experience in telling you that it will not fetch as much $$$ as you think it will. I owned the same watch, except it was with the rare Blue face (#45 of only 50 made) on a stainless bracelet. For some reason the GP's don't fetch good money in the secondary market...especially in the United States.

As for showing the number, it is common practice to not reveal the actual number of the piece to the general public. I guess it's similar to not showing license plate numbers. In both regards it's only a matter of opinion and preference as to why you should/shouldn't show it, but to each his own. You shouldn't suspect that it's a fake because of this alone.

    Good luck with the sale.

I've seen them go for around $1800.

Its true, there isn't much of a secondary market for them and most of the places that carry GP will sell one to you for 50% of MSRP.
