They are from Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I crew on a 430 Challenge car so I took pics each trip we made to pit lane - once a day. There is one pic of Massa's car after is Friday 'off' with what looked like half a dozen guys under his car working - I thought that was pretty niffty.
Great to see all the close up pictures! How did your guy do in the Challenge? The race was shortened to preserve what was left of the track? Thanks CH
The race was shortened to 20 minutes from the original 30 minutes. The #2 finished 21 st I think, we were very happy with the results. The driver is a rookie but driving very well and getting faster at each event. The other two team cars did very well also so the weekend was a success and I had not been to an F1 race in 20 plus years so it was a real treat.
All very nice but no pictures of Pamela Anderson in the Ferrari pits??? Was there a TV crew there covering the Challenge race as they did for the event at VIR and elsewhere last year? They spent almost as much time on the food as they did covering the cars... CH
your car looked great, here are some pics taken from turns 1&2. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was going to start a thread for some of my pics but Ill just add them here. I did not have access to the paddocks this year but I had excellent seats in the Elite Suites and a good view of the "take off" area just out of the pit lane. Why did they shorten the race??[/QUOTE] The idea was to save wear and tear on the track. Some of the well used lines on the track that had been patched in the past were breaking up again this year. Just like Monaco, if you strayed off line you really paid for it... Massa went agricultural with some good success though! CH
The guys name is Dan Watkins from Boston. Great guy, great attitude and just having fun!! He is the moderator on the New England forum.
Hey Big D, Got anymore pics of that pretty babe on the front of my future car? Paint job on the Skokas car looks great. Congrats to all the Challenge drivers. Congrats to Felipe for that awesome move at the Hairpin, too...
great pictures, thanks for sharing them. do you have more of the GULF livery ferrari? Best regards Ever
