    This is a strange story. A long time ago, upon its debut, I bought the Villeneuve version.
    It arrived in shambles inside a box that was equally broken.

    To make a long a long story short, we went back and forth, made a deal with the model seller, an I ended up with 4 (!) mostly broken T4's that I was welcome to restore, or my money back.

    Being a hard head and a consummate model aficionado, I took a bit of this a bit of that, and ended up making
    (restoring) 2 cars.

    I am interested in selling the Scheckter model, it has the wrong base, but that can be remedied by having another plate engraved, if so desired.

    The model looks the part, I would not remove it from the base, as disintegration can happen, as they used carpentry screws to hold the model onto it.

    There is a fade spot inside one of the rear wheels.

    I would like $300 + shipping (probably not so inexpensive) As double boxed or whatever.
    We can talk about it, further details, photos, etc.

    On eBay the are above $500, and the wheel can be touched up invisibly. Of course you need some talent :)

    It really is a beautiful model. Specially in the 1/12 scale.
    I can take a photo of the Villeneuve label, print it and the future buyer can glue it on with double sticky.
