    Grand Prix New York opens to the public today, and I'm heading up there for a little racing at 7:30 (they close at 10). Anyone feel like coming with?

    From what i understand, they provide everything except for the racing boots and gloves. Do you need gloves?

    no gloves necessary, and you can wear any shoes you have. driving shoes won't really help much.

    i went yesterday....CLOSED DUE TO LEAKING ROOF and the track was flooded..lol, go figure, but i got the tour and signed up for the year membership, so im excited. I only live 5-10 min away.
